A motor vehicle carrying suspected narcotics failed to stop for police in Giriulla, triggering a high-speed pursuit that ended near Pannala when officers fired at one of the vehicle's tyres. Police broke the vehicle's door locks after the occupants refused to open them and arrested a 37-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old female. Nearly five grams of narcotics were recovered during a search, and investigations are ongoing.
