A survey has begun across eight Sri Lankan districts to assess the impact of dry weather on livelihoods in agriculture, fisheries, livestock, and small-scale employment, with relief mechanisms to be formulated based on findings. The Disaster Relief Services Centre reports 163,869 affected individuals, led by 43,638 in Monaragala District, and ongoing water distribution efforts.
