A 39-year-old suspect linked to Chinese organised crime was arrested in Colombo following an investigation by the Colombo Central Crimes Investigation Bureau, accused of extorting investors in the Colombo Port City scheme. Police recovered four passports, five mobile phones and 42 SIM cards from the suspect. He is scheduled to be produced in court today as investigations continue.
